Mental Health Clinic is seeking a professional, upbeat, organized, reliable, team player to join our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Understands Financial EMR program to properly input all billing processes.
2. Balances, batches, and posts incoming payments.
3. Enters refund check request in computer and balances check log.
4. Prepares payments for bank deposits and get monies to appropriate person to take to the bank.
5. Track, Fix, Rebill and file denials.
6. Responsible for entire revenue cycle management
a. Including claims, collections, letters, refunds, certified mail, and final letters.
7. Monitors account receivable for each specific account.
8. Processes secondary billing to include coordination of benefits.
9. Filing, scanning and uploading documents
10.Calling patients and insurance companies on unpaid balances
11.Performs other support tasks, and may assist other staff members with payment posting and bank reconciliation.
Qualifications:
Minimum Background Requirements:
Three years minimum experience with Billing/coding and revenue cycle management
Experience in Excel, and Microsoft Word
Experience working with physicians
Preferred experience in mental health
Preferred experience with EncounterWorks EMR and QuickBooks

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
