Technician EPSU

Company Name:
Cleans, sanitizes, and assembles equipment in an acceptable sanitary fashion within the established time frame. Achieves tech release status within 2 months of accepting position at which point the EPSU Tech is able to release his/her own equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Cleans, sanitizes, and assembles equipment in an acceptable sanitary fashion within the established time frame.
2. Achieves tech release status within 2 months of accepting position as EPSU Tech.
3. Thoroughly examines work area prior to releasing it for production to ensure that everything is clean, sanitized, and set-up properly for start up.
4. Returns equipment to proper storage area (assembled and cleaned).
5. Reports any damage to equipment or facilities (i.e. broken blades, missing parts, metal or plastic shavings, broken o-rings, broken glass) to Team Leader immediately.
6. Removes trash, denature product, bail cardboard, clean rolling stock constantly throughout shift.
7. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
1. Develops and maintains a professional attitude at all times.
2. Communicates all problems and concerns to appropriate personnel (Team Leader, Q.A., Maintenance, Production, etc.).
Safety & Quality:
1. Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and good housekeeping practices
2. Uses proper personal protective equipment (PPEs) including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) Check with the Training Department or the Safety Department for the specific protective equipment required in each area of the factory.
3. Follows proper Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) policy and procedures. Never places any body parts in moving machinery.
4. Follows proper lifting techniques and ergonomics.
5. Performs safety checks on E-stops and pull-cords.
6. Ensures that all guards are in place on equipment.
7. Maintains control of chemical foam and water spray: cover it, remove it or destroy it.
8. Uses proper chemicals in proper applications. Never mixes or weighs chemicals. Contacts Team Leader for help.
9. Never compromises on food safety and always complies with all applicable regulatory requirements.
10. Reports quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Department.
1. Disposes of empty containers appropriately when using liquid cleaning chemicals and granular type cleaners.
2. Uses only the necessary amount of water and chemicals for cleaning to reduce wastewater generation and water consumption.
3. Disposes of waste appropriately and recycles materials when possible.
4. Avoids allowing grease to flow to the floor drains.
5. Contacts Nestl Environmental Personnel or Facilities when there is an oil, milk, or hydraulic fluid spill to assist in the immediate cleanup of the spill.
6. Understands all environmental, safety, and hazard (HAZCOM) aspects of the position and follows standard procedures related to these as outlined on the EPSU SHE sheet.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
