General Production 2nd shift

Company Name:
1. Checks all issued ingredients for quality and quantity.
2. Follows recipe in preparing ingredients.
3. Labels ingredients and completes all paperwork.
4. Prepares product for weighers and operators. Weighs products when necessary.
5. Maintains adequate supply of ingredients, film, and pictorials to keep all aspects of operations functioning at maximum capacity.
6. Ensures proper rotation sequence of ingredients, pans, v-mags, etc.
7. Understands and follows all mid-shift and end of shift procedures regarding food storage, WIP, paperwork, housekeeping, etc.
8. Hand loads, tapes, and stacks cases, ensuring accurate stamping and quality of code.
9. Sorts sub-standard product out and maintains appearance of product for later inspection.
10. Watches for foreign matter in product and notifies Team Leader or QA when foreign material is present.
11. Weighs products at or above minimum speed consistently and accurately.
12. Keeps bread feed, prepweigher stations, etc. adequately supplied to avoid line downtime.
13. Meets requirement of obtaining at least one back-up on the core line within 30 days of accepting General Production position.
14. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
15. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
1. Communicates with other production employees to coordinate activities and maintain all areas of responsibility.
2. Communicates with Central Prep and/or Warehouse when product or materials are needed.
3. Communicates all other problems and concerns with appropriate personnel (Team Leader, Q.A., Maintenance, EPSU, etc.).
Safety & Quality:
1. Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and good housekeeping practices.
2. Uses proper personal protective equipment (PPEs) when on the production floor including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) Check with the Training Department or the Safety Department for the specific protective equipment required in each area of the factory.
3. Follows proper Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) policy and procedures. Never places any body parts in moving machinery.
4. Follows proper lifting techniques and ergonomics.
5. Is aware of all hazards listed on the Ingredient Handler SHE sheet. Takes preventative measures to avoid injury associated with these hazards.
6. Maintains awareness of the environment in order to avoid collisions with fork-lift drivers and other machinery and employees on the floor.
7. Gets a copy of and reviews the current QMS for the position every day at the start of shift.
8. Ensures that product meets Nestl quality standards (i.e. correct size, standard appearance, no contamination, etc.).
9. Follows all applicable regulations and guidelines to ensure food safety.
10. Reports quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Department.
1. Recycles all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.)
2. Contacts Facilities when there is an oil, milk, or other hazardous material spill to assist in the immediate and appropriate cleanup of the spill.
3. Is aware of all environmental concerns listed on the Ingredient Handler SHE sheet. Takes preventative measures to avoid causing environmental issues.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
