CNC Machinist
Title: CNC Machinist/Operator
Pay: DOE
Shift: All Shifts Open
Job Description:
Setup runs of parts on Mori Seiki Lathe. This will include setting up an automatic bar feeder, static tooling, live tooling, sub-spindle pickups and parts catcher.
Ensure quality of parts made on the lathe. This will include measuring parts coming off the lathe and offsetting tooling to make the part match the print and minor G&M code changes when needed.
Post process parts. This will include deburing, stamping, tumbling, and polishing of parts.
Maintain CNC area. This will include basic machine maintenance, keeping paperwork up to date, sweeping and cleaning area.
CNC certificate plus 1 year experience or 3 years experience
Reading Calipers
Using Thread Gauges
Attention to Detail
Lift 50 lbs.
Basic Knowledge of G&M Code
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Experience with Mori Seiki lathes is a plus
Experience with GIBBS CAM is a plus
