3K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago ABOUT THE JOB The Machine Operator I is responsible for setting up and operating equipment to ensure the efficient and safe day-to-day production of various Modere products.
The Machine Operator also works as a packager and boxer.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Perform labeling, packaging, and boxing.
Make sure containers, bottles are properly capped and labeled.
Monitor products coming off the production line for quality, including crooked labels, cracked and leaking seals and caps, proper product number and bar codes, etc.
Assure filled boxes are properly loaded onto finished product pallets and readied for movement into warehouse inventory system.
Perform routine daily machine setup processes when assigned on a training basis; examine machine components for proper operation and maintenance; apprise maintenance personnel, directly or through supervisors of needed repair or replacement; follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor machine operation; may make routine adjusts belt speeds, pumping air pressure, dispensing rates, filling levels and other phases of production to prevent rejections and inefficiencies.
Perform end-of-run cleaning; disassemble various components and parts; clean parts according to establish quality control guidelines.
Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum experience in a similar role.
Some knowledge of various aspects of production and manufacturing machine operations, quality control requirements, inventory control methods and practices, including part and product codes and numbers, various safety regulations and practices, general mechanical operations and maintenance methods related to Modere's equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Perform routine mathematical computations.
Ability to work under stress created by workplace requirements, deadlines, and changes in project priorities.
Able to develop effective working relationships with supervisors and fellow employees.
Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as to work in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
