This position is for full time employment, but can be full time during the summer and part time when school starts in some circumstances.
Experience not necessary - just someone with the attitude for learning and work ethic that is ready to have fun producing sculptures! Slurry Dipping/Shell Application Department:
Apply liquid and sand mixture coats to wax patterns (slurry dipping).
Wax Department:
Pour wax patterns of sculptures, touch up of imperfections (seam lines, air bubbles, etc.
) attach wax sprues to patterns.
Required skills:
Strength (Job requires a lot of lifting.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, and lift 50 - 75 lbs repetitively and regularly.
) Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
General shop and machine noise, heat, dirt, sand, grease, high temperatures and dust from the operation of machines and equipment.
Normal working position is standing or walking.
Some repetitive lifting/moving is required, depending on the daily assignment or tasks being performed.
Physical ability to wear respirator and safety equipment required.
The lifting weight can range anywhere from 1 to 100 lbs in which proper lifting/moving techniques are required.
Pay range is $17-20/hr DOE.
