ABOUT THIS JOB:
The Shipping and Receiving Manager is responsible for the workflow of orders and time management to ensure all orders are sent to clients on time.
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:
30am - 5:
00pm
Responsibilities:
Mastery of alias flow of orders and their relationship to other departments.
Understand and be proficient in all shipping methods to increase productivity and efficiency Performing stock counts, maintaining a well-stocked department and partnering with Sales reps to place orders as necessary.
Problem solving issues pertaining to the team, the equipment, process and workload Motivating team to ensure high performance and effective time management Content development and leadership of daily morning meetings, participation in weekly production management meetings and preparation for monthly meeting with Director of Fulfillment and Director of People Managing schedules effectively to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner Overseeing training and cross training Hold the team accountable to quality and speed requirements.
Take care of our customers by providing excellent quality and fast service.
Weekly evaluation of Shipping costs and expenses BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
$26 - $28 /hour, depending on experience Immediate PTO accrual Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with up to 4% employer match Requirements:
Must be able to work in a standing position for 6
hours a day.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Must be able to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
Must have great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes.
Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas.
Bilingual preferred PM21.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
